  • Introduction to Narrative Therapy Part 1 invites you to consider some of the key assumptions informing narrative practices, how the 'story' metaphor is understood and how you might begin to explore an accessible set of practices in the work you do. The practices introduced include double listening, re-authoring conversations, re-membering conversations and externalising conversations.
  • Introduction to Narrative Therapy Part 2 invites you to build on the practices introduced in part 1 by exploring more of the 'maps of narrative practice'. Part 2 will also share how the 'therapuetic posture map' and scaffholding of conversations can assist us to review our participation in consultations. This might be consultations with individuals, with families, as a part of supervision or with communities and groups.
